Dle2514w machine makes a thomping noise along with a rattle. It's been like this for awhile

For the washer to spin, it must first drain the water out of the tub. Since you are hearing a rattling noise, and your washer will not drain, most likely the problem is the drain motor itself. The impeller wears out on the shaft, and start to wobble, and make a vibrating/rattling noise.

moving noise is very hard to find.

could well be exhaust shields,
did you take a rubber mallet and tap the parts (exh, end to end?)
bang ,rattle, bang , repeat
seen many bad CAT (brick inside loose) rattle. hit it. bingo. there you go.

i also jam objects in cat shelds to stop them for making noise.
just for temporary to find source.

Doesn't matter you have a leak

You should have stopped using it
when you first noticed the leak & had
it resolved,now you may need a new pump

Since the machine hadn't been used in a while you might have a stuck check valve in the pump. You say it hums. Does it rattle or just hum? If it hums something is stuck in the lines that is keeping the pump from moving water. If it rattles and makes a lot of noise its the pump check valve or it could be a plugged flow meter/ intake line.

Most model dryers are supported at thge rear of the drum with a bearing configuration, but usually the front of the drum is supported by some lining pads or guides. These help hold the rotation of the drum concentric. It sounds like your drum is not spinning concentric. My guess would be that some new guides might need to be installed.

The simple problem (depending on the model) would be a loose front panel belt protector just under the fron of the machine.
The more complicated problem would be the replacement of the brake pachage that is the second largest cause of such noise.

Its still under warranty best bring it back sounds like a broken needle or tread knot.
