Question about Dell Inspiron 1501 Notebook
Posted by Anonymous on
You likely have a hardware issue.
If your computer is still under warranty then call Dell and a technician perform an on-site repair, or send you the part in the mail. The scroll pad and left/right click buttons are the same unit, and they should send you that as a replacement part along with instructions on how to install the replacement hardware.
If your computer is not under warranty you can find a replacement for this hardware online cheaper than through Dell, just scour google.
