Hi! Have you checked the spark plugs? It may be worn and not burning fuel thats why it wont run. Replace the sparkplug and you'll be good. HOpe this helps and have a good one!

Hello,

you will need to check all the wires that connect to the battery to see if none is shorted, because this could be a short circuit wire problem, check all the wires to see is any is defective, if any, replace it.

Take care.

Cbr 600 2008 clocks are not working ??? help done all the obvious, fuses, wiring check - any ideas

i would say the next step is to get a wiring diagram and find the live feed wire to the instrument panel ,then take your screen off and check the connector to the back of the clocks is good with no corroded connections and then check the live feed is there with a meter or power probe and the earth also of course.

Check all cable connections look for a bad contact.
Especially about voltage regulators.
I did not realize the engine starts it or does not.
If so check the relay and the starter.
Lamp oil off engine ignition only if your oil sensor faces

How do i check the oil level on my suzuki 2000 savage ?

Greetings,
To check the oil level there is a 1 inch sight glass on the foot brake side of the bike, it is down low just above the exhaust pipe, you will need a flash light and get down on your knees and hold the bike level [not a neet trick while on your knees and holding a flash light]. In the sight glass there are two marks on the front and rear the proper oil level is to be between the marks, not the level is only about 2 ounces of oil from full and add so if it needs oil don't over fill it. [Be sure to not let the bike fall on you, that could really make for a bad day.]
Good luck, Les

My 2002 kawasaki ninja 250 is having trouble starting. (electric start) At first it was just giving me this clicking sound kinda like when your car wont turn over and start. So I replaced the battery for...

The oil light is on because the engine isn't running to build any oil pressure. Sounds like the new battery may need to be charged fully. After the battery is fully charged, and the 'clicking' noise is back (or not) check the battery connections for corrosion--especially at the positive terminal. If ok, you should get one solid click when trying to start. If ok, but still not starting, jump the two heavy terminals of the solenoid (click source) with a heavy wire which should bump the starter motor. If nothing, then the starter motor needs service--usually the brushes inside fail to make contact with the armature due to brush wear, or weak springs. Most dealers will likely only sell you a new starter--no internal parts. Hope this helps!

Ok, I put new gas in my bike, changed the oil, new battery, all new plugs, solenoid works, starter is fine, checked wiring to my starter that's fine, fuses are all fine what the heck else could this be? My...

If the bike has been sitting for awhile it may be clogged with old gas that evaporated an turned to varnish.

Check your choke cable and make sure it's properly adjusted.

You may have to clean the carbs. Or your coils are not sending spark to the plugs.

I have a knocking sound on my 2005 r6. i was working fine on sunday but when i started it up on tuesday i hear a knocking.

first , do not panic nor rev your motor .
you have first check the oil condition and level .
Does the oil pump light or oil pressure light stays on ?
you have to make sure your oil is not too old as well .
your bike has been serviced recently ?
you have to work with process of elimination .
with the few things i have asked and mention above you should make sure all these are ok .
After checking all these and the noise persist , you will have the following to check :
- check your spark plugs for oil burning .
- check coolant level and trace of oil in it
- try to locate the source of noise , top , bottom of motor
- does the noise increases when giving gas .
- does the noise sound heavy or " tin " noise
check all these and get back to me and i will try to give you more explanation.

Service details for a suzuki gsx1400 oilcooled engine

I think you mean a VS1400 or a VS1400GLP. I don't think there is a GSX1400. Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part, the part is not in stock. www.babbittsonline.com/pages/parts/viewbybrandand/parts.aspx

First, check and , if needed, change the spark plug(s), and oil. Always use the stock spark plug for your particular bike. Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Change the oil filter if your bike has one. Changing the oil acts as the "filter" in bikes that don’t have an actual filter. Lubricate the chain. Lubricate the control cables with liquid graphite, ( Lock Eze ). Make sure the tires have adequate pressure. Check the spokes and snug up any that are lose. Aim the headlight and check all functions of the bike, kill switches, brakes, etc.

How about a top rating on this solution? Thanks!

but would start fine. I took the head off again too check it out. That is everything loked fine rebvuilt it this time went like a rocket. Couple of mates came down for the weekend rode all day Saturday and was racing with a Gas Gas 200 which it beat. Later Sunday afternon it starts missing tenderly chanbged plug, chewcked carb both fine. The bike did get me home suonding like it was about to run out fuel then would go like hell for a few secvonds before chugging alone again. Seem to go back to what it was like after the rebuild. The only thin I can think of is a electric problem.,I had the carb a part today & gave it a good clean, also droped the gear oil & which was fine. I did think it was the power vale at the very start of the prolbem but as the bike ran like a demon for the best part of two days it can't be that. Finally I stated first kick today and I took it for a rip around the garden. Seemed ok ravin fine not missing then when I was giving it gas in third it would start to miss. I have not got a clue what is wrong with it now and I am not keen to admit defeat and take it to the bike shop at 40 U.S and hour. ,,,
