Why is my hifi saying push power protect

Probably some condition caused your system to enter protect mode. You are being prompted to push something, perhaps a circuit breaker, to restore normal operation.

Moved the unit to a new location, plugged it in and it keeps saying push powre protector. Where and what is this?

Disconnect all your speaker wires from the unit and then try to power it on. You may just have a wire that is shorted. If it still goes into protect, then it needs to go in for service - you have a short in the amp

My Sony home system keeps saying PUSH POWER PROTECT... (no speakers are hooked up,but did it when there where)

more than likely you have a Shorted Amplifier inside the unit which will require you send it into sony for repairs.

dead short. Check wiring inside case. Power Protect keeps it for catching fire or electrical shock. Tech Fix only in most cases.
