Hello there,

The frame must not have been properly reset. Please try to power off the picture frame and unplug the power cable from the power source. Remove the memory card or usb drive. Next plug in back the power cord and turn on the picture frame. This is the time you need to press the reset button at the back of the frame using any pointed object or paper clip.

This is a known issue on the Kodak Digital Picture frame models. If the above solution does not work, and if it still under warranty, i would suggest that you have it repaired to an authorized Kodak service center to save cost.

Please let me know how this goes. Thank you for using FixYa.

I did exactly what you said, it did not work. The screen flashed on for a second, still in the red hue, but then screen goes blank (like it's off).

I did as you instructed but still no picture. What next?

The cause might be an overheating. Try to turn off your digital picture frame over night and see if colors are restored the next day. Otherwise, the wiring connecting the LCD to its board could have been dislocated.

If this is under warranty, usually less than a year, you can have this repaired for free.

1. Turn the frame off.
2. Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
3. Remove any memory card or flash disk from the frame.
4. Connect the power cable directly to a wall outlet.
5. Turn the frame on.

6. Use a paper clip to press the button inside the pinhole on the back of the frame.

If after trying the above steps and the frame still have the same problem, then we need
to send the frame in for a repair as per warranty guidelines.

Your frame will be repaired per warranty guidelines. A product is warranted for 1 year from the date-of-purchase. For an In-Warranty repair, a “Proof-of-Purchase” is required. If the repair center finds any customer induced damaged, the warranty will be voided and you will receive a notification from the repair center in such cases.

I have a kodak sv1011 digital frame and it stopped showing the pics. it boots up and you can see the pics if you look closely but there is no back light so it won't display? is there a fix for this?

On the other side of your frame there is a reset button.
It is below a small hole on the left back side of the frame. You will need a poky device in order to press the button which is located within the frame.

How do I get music into SV1011 digital Picture frame

There is no internal memory on your frame. Therefor you must transferre the music onto the SD card and then it will play from your frame.

Red verticle lines

the redish hue usually mean that the camera doesn't have enough light to take a good quality pic. If daytime pictures taken outside still look the same take it back or get a new camera.
