This gasket has no screws; this is an RV refrigerator, 3 way: 110, 12 volt and propane. So, the above does not work. Thanks anyway.

Loosen all the screws located in the middle of the old door gasket, remove the old gasket. starting at the top of the door; wedge the new door top gasket corner into one of the gasket frame corners at the door top and, screw it down to secure; because the gasket will not be wide enough; use a hairdryer to gently stretch it to the other top corner and, secure that corner then : using the hairdryer continue to stretch the gasket downward and, fit the rest of the door gasket into both of the remaining bottom corners then: slip the rest of the gasket under the gasket frame and, tighten all the gasket frame brackets.

I've not run into the problem your having yet, so I will apologize up front for asking you to furnish more information. These drain cups that I assume are little round pieces attached to the base of the unit where it meets the roof, were not common on dometic, but were common on Coleman AC units. Those are the outlets for condensation to the roof anyway, are they not?
Also, as far as gasket goes, no I wouldn't recommend using 2. We were always advised by manufacturer to compress gasket to half the original thickness when installing either Dometic, or Coleman (RV Products). Coleman at one time, had tabs under gasket that when gasket was compressed, and they touched the roof surface inside, that was far enough, which was approximately half the original thickness. Believe it or not, over-tightening is more likely to cause a leak. Stick with half original thickness, or close to it.

Dometic Voluntarily Expands Refrigerator Recall

Dometic recently expanded its recall on a population of two-door refrigerators. The original recall included some two-door refrigerators manufactured between April 1997 and May 2003. The new recall focuses on models manufactured between June 2003 and September 2006.

To see if your unit is on the recall list & what to do, try the link below.

Roof gasket on rv a/c

Try not to compress gasket past 1/2 it's original thickness. Most of the factory ones have tabs that stick down, and supposedly when they touch the roof, it's far enough, which is about same as 1/2. I use my cordless with the torque setting on it, at about 2-3 until I see how far that draws down, then increase/decrease as needed from there.Once i feel it's 1/2 way, I torque all at same setting on drill to make sure all equal.
