Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet
I have a toshiba satellite A215-S582. I tried to update the BIOS but it suddenly shut down. Now, it's unresponsive. The screen went blank but the hard drive and fan are working. Is there any way I could fix this at home?
First of all try this. Turn the laptop off and remove the battery. hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Plug just the AC mains power jack in and turn the laptop on.
If it boots all is well, turn the machine off, put in the battery.
Just out of interest can you remember who manufactured the BIOS? was it Phoenix or AMI?

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
