Question about Fisher and Paykel GWL11 Top Load Washer
Hi just read your posting. Now the fault you have indicated is called SINGLE ROTOR POSITION SENSOR ERROR. The ROTOR SENSOR is located underneath your machine attached to the motor. Its purpose is to tell the computer in what position the drum is and adjust the speed of the bowl. The other less common reasons for the fault will be faulty wiring to the ROTOR SENSOR or your MOTOR CONTROLLER IS FAULTY.To test the ROTOR SENSOR unfortunately you must have a test meter called an RPS tester.Or if you can get the machine to spin, once it is spinning open the lid quickly the bowl will stop and the ERROR CODE you indicated will show again on the wash progress lights. If you want to try and just change the ROTOR SENSOR without testing it I can guide you throe the process step by step. But remember the fault could be the MOTOR CONTROLLER.So changing the ROTOR SENOR will not rectify the problem. Please reply back on how you would like to proceed and I will try to find another way to test the ROTOR SENSOR for you.By the way do you have or can borrow an electrical test meter? This will help checking the wiring.Looking forward to your reply
