What is text links SEO?

This is correct in spite of image labels receiving the ALT feature accessible. The actual ALT feature may consist of key phrases, however, because of the key word padding now they tend to be practically useless. (You ought to be making use of your ALT characteristics with regard to functionality as well as ease of access and never SEO anyway).

How do you fix a broken hyperlink?

Step 1:
A broken link on your website is like a broken promise to your visitor: You did not provide the content you said you would. Broken links might cause some visitors to question your professionalism, competence or intelligence. Don't disappoint your visitors. Make certain that all the links on your website actually work.

Use your Web browser to go to a free online link checker. Options include the W3C Link Checker, Iwebtools' Broken Link Checker or 1-Hit Broken Link Checker. http://validator.w3.org/checklink , http://www.iwebtool.com/broken_link_checker , Find and remove broken links in your website http://sixrevisions.com/website-management/find-remove-broken-links/ Broken Line checker http://www.1-hit.com/all-in-one/tool.broken-link-finder.htm Enter the URL of the Web page you wish to check. Click the "Check" or "Check Links" button to begin the validation process. Review the results once the link checker has finished its work. The report will list all the broken links the checker was able to find on that page. The W3C Link Checker report also gives you the line number where you might find the broken link in the original HTML code. Open your Web editor and load the page you just checked. Search for the broken link. If you have trouble finding the link, try copying the broken link from the report, then use your editor's "Find" function to quickly locate it. Find and correct every broken link listed in the report or remove the links if they no longer are needed. Save the edited page. Open up your FTP (file transfer protocol) application and connect to your Web server. Transfer the edited file from your computer to your Web server. Log out of the server. Recheck the the Web page you just uploaded. If this page passes with no problems, repeat the process for each page in your site that has links.

I am getting message when attempting to open links, "Server not found"?

Email links is when you are getting this message or is it when you try to open an internet browser to go to any web page?

If you're on the internet successfully and you are clicking a email link, then I would say the link is bad. You can type the address of the email provider and see if you can get there successfully. If you don't know the address just go to www.google.com and in the search box type your email provider. Example: Yahoo Mail or Google Mail,or GMail or Hotmail.

Need to allow a telnet session thru a speedstream 5660 modem/router having a public ip and allow it to connect to a private ip on the internal LAN. how do i accomplish this?

According to the user manual:
Page 16:

HTTP Web-browser Access

Most HTML browsers can be used, though Internet Explorer 4.0 or Netscape 4.0 are recommended. IE 2.0 and Netscape 2.0 and their predecessors are not supported. The HTML interface can be used to access the LAN (or WAN) IP address or it can be used with FTP to upload and download files to and from the router.

To log on to the modem via HTML:

1 Bring up your favorite web browser.

2 Enter the Ethernet IP address of the router (10.0.0.1 or Speedstream) in the "Location" or "Address" area where you enter web page addresses.

3 Refer to "HTML Web Interface" on page 20.

Page 20:

HTML Web Interface

The HTML interface for the router first displays a page showing the current configuration of the router. The first page also provides links to the following functions:

.

.

.

Advanced Setup

Leads to a more detailed interface with several links that allow more in-depth configuration of functions available on the router. This interface provides the following links:

Configuration Procedures

Status and Statistics

Command List

This is where the user manual ends. I would suggest clicking "Configuration Procedures" and find the section for configuring Network Address Translation (NAT).
In that section (if it exists), you'll want to provide the private IP address of the computer running the Telnet server and forward port 23 to this IP address.
If NAT capabilities do not exist, I would consider changing the router to Gateway mode (described in the user manual) and buying your own router to handle the NAT firewall.

When opening web page links it seems that they want to open on screen 2. I usually have this powered off. When, how do I set the web page links to open on screen 1 only. Loc king the taskbar does not seem...

The easiest method to fix this would be to simply go into catalyst control center (or AMD Vision Engine Control Center if you have latest drivers) and disable the second monitor. You don't need to disconnect it physically so all the cables can stay as they are, just disable it and use your computer as you normally would when the second monitor is powered off. Continue to use it this way as long as you like, but I would suggest rebooting the machine at least once before going back to the same place to turn the second monitor back on, and make sure you actually used some web links that previously would have tried to come up on the second monitor.

Once the second monitor is disabled, no matter what software or setting was responsible for causing the links to open on the second screen, the computer will only have one screen available so it will open on the first one. The software or setting should get automatically reset to remember this and a reboot while the second screen is still disabled should ensure that the setting is saved and whatever was making it open on the other screen will be reset to the proper one. Then you can turn the second screen back on whenever you like and leave it on and it should still open links on your main screen just fine.
