Where to find movies in VLC

VLC will only play back files it can recognise as video files. If the format of the movie you want to play back is not in the format that can be played back in, VLC might not even show the files up. This doesn't mean that VLC can't play the file at all. It probably means that you need the correct Codec to play the file format. Check to see what format the movie is in and then search for the correct codec to play it.

WHY i CAN'T VIEW MOVIES ON MY MITMP33 AND REASON IT FORMAT ERROR

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX.If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatiblevideo file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format thatyour MP3 player uses.Click on this link for instructions on converting videofiles for MP3 players :-http://www.fixya.com/support/r5874192-play_videos_mp3_player

CAN'T HEAR MUSIC, IT SAY FORMAT ERROR,WHAT DO I DO?

Your getting a format error because the format of the song, video, etc
you are trying to play is not the format needed by your MP3 player to
play the song,video,etc.
Always check in your owners manual to find out what format your player
requires.
Once you have determined what the format you have (MP3,MP4,ACC,WMA,etc.)
you will need to determine what format you need for your player to play
those songs,video,etc.
If the format that you have for your songs, videos, etc is different than
the format that you need for your player to play them, then you will
have to download a format converter and convert each song, video, etc to
the format that is usable in your MP3 player.

Warning File Format Error

It seems that your trying to play a video that the media player does not support. The video works on your computer because the computer supports many more video file formats that the media player does. Make sure that the video your trying to play has a .mp4 file extension after the file name, meaning that it is a mp4 file. Try another known working mp4 video file.
good luck and i hope this has helped.

Problem Playing Windows Media Player Movie Clip on My E90

Suitable file format for your phone are 3gp, mp4, mpg, etc except wmv. WMV files cannot be opened by this model. If you really want to play it on you phone you must convert this file first. i suggest converting it into mp4 or 3gp. It the only way to play the video in your phone.
