Question about Tappan TGF320 Gas Kitchen Range
An orange flame is caused by NOT ENOUGH air!!.. too much air will only make the flames pull away from the burner and if way too much, will extinguish the flames!!. they will STILL be blue!
also check the gas regulating part. The gas regulator. If its faulty or cracked it will release more gas.
orange / yellow flame is a sign of combustion problems and should be serviced. There is some dust rust got collected in the burners and other gas is gas flow bit high and air getting mixed up with the gas .
Your burners need cleaning.Orange means excessive CO production.Make sure air opening and burner ports are clean and open. The gas flame is starved for oxygen. Check the flame openings for any debris and clean with a q-tip.
the gas/oxygen mixture is incorrect. the stove needs cleaning of the burner parts.
