F1 means "flood. there is a flood sensor underneath the drawer, and if there is any water under the drawer the control will show that error. Check the drain hose linkage for cracks. Remove drawer and dry the area underneath.

What is the flood switch on a dw60cdx1

We had an F1 error with our F&P dish draw,Isolated the power to machine, then I removed the drawer & cover from the flood sensor, Dried water with towel & used hairdryer. Power cycled the unit & has fixed the problem.
Had used a different powder & believe that it created more foam that caused the machine to flood slightly

My dish draw **** up with a service code f 1 , what does this mean

This can mean several things. If you have double drawer dishwasher then you need to confirm if you get the F1 message in both drawers or just one.
If both drawers then it is caused by water leakage and flood switch activiates. If only in one drawer then the power supply to the other drawer is blown.
For single unit drawer it means flood switch triggered.

I have a single draw F&P Dishwasher and get the error F1, turned off the power and still same problem, but in the last 2 or 3 loads of washing dishes not all the water has been gone, always about 2cm...

most likely you have a leaky drain hose.
Have you checked if sink drain is clear (no back flow)
Turn dishwasher power off.
Empty all the water using a small container and towels.
Get the drawer out (remove front cover first by taking the side pins out and carefully lifting it).

Check behind to see water lying on the floor of dishwasher housing. If leaky drain hose you will have to replace it.
Dry the base of the dishwasher (towels and dryer) otherwise F1 will not go away.

F1 fault

Hi . F1 means your machine has triggered the flood alarm. either you have a leak on one of your drawers or water or soap suds has escaped throe the overflow. now the 1st thing to do is turn your machine off at the wall. then leave it for a couple of days to let it dry out. then turn it on and try the lower drawer throe a cycle,if it doesn't go to F1 then try the top drawer. if it doesn't go to F1 then it might be fixed.if it does go to F1 on any drawer then please reply and tell me which drawer it is and i can help you further.

The oven beeps and has a error F1

Hello,F1 means Stuck touch pad.
Usually means that either the touch pad or the oven control (also called clock or ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced. If this fault code cannot be canceled, replace the oven control(also called clock or ERC),touch pad,or both.

Thanks

I have a single draw Fisher and Paykel dishwasher. I stupidly put washing up liquid in the dishwasher which resulted in a F1 problem. Water started leaking under the draw and onto my floor. I turned the...

ok , F1 means your flood switch has activated, which is underneath the drawer. now they show the F1 fault because of 2 reasons.1st there is still water underneath drawer causing switch to activate. 2nd your activator board which has the flood switch attached is faulty reading your posting it has been about 15 days since the fault happened. the water should have dryed around switch by now. if there is power to the unit and it is still coming up with F1 fault then possibly you have damaged the activator board. please reply and tell me if you have power on or off at the present time. to fix the problem it is alittle bit involved but i can guide you thru it when you reply .good luck

Hi, I have missed place my manuel for my dishwasher. It is a single-draw stainless steel, model DS603. The problem I have is F1 is showing on the control panel and it has a beeping sound. How do I rectify...

The manual for your unit is available on
http://www.fisherpaykel.com/admin/pdfs/pdf_usecares/527971B_DD_user_guide_USw.pdf

However, this will give you only the reason for the F1 fault code but not the causes for it.

This occurs when the flood switch at the base of the dishwasher (under the drawer) is activated. This is because there is some water gone into the base of the unit.

Causes can be - leak in the drain hose (that is at the back of the drawer) or too much foam in detergent or simply water spilling from over the drawer.

If there is a leak in drain hose then this needs to be replaced.

Parts manual is available for your unit at
http://www.stokes-aus.com.au/StokesAP/Manufacturer_Info/FP/DISHWASHERS/599084%20Dishdrawer-Version%203%20%20eg%20%20DD603%20etc.pdf

You might be able to source it locally.

To get rid of the F1 - switch off the dishwasher power.
Extend the drawer out as much as possible and dry out the base with towels and hair dryer. The location of the flood switch is shown in the parts manual in case you are interested. Turn the power on and hopefully it was a once of problem.

Good luck

Asko 1776 dishwasher error message

open up the underside of the dishwasher and check the 2 terminals that connect to the heater element. Sometimes they burn off and it is a quick repair to just put a new terminal on the end. Also make sure the water going into the dishwasher is hot, as that can cause this problem too. Hope this helps
