Is there an external outdoor isolator?
Make sure power going through switch as required( put volt meter on neutral and power cable to test not the earth and power) this can also be checked at terminals at outdoor unit, a missing neutral will cause power failure but will not trip the breaker,

Why do i get power at the 120v outlet but nothing works when its plugged into the outlet

It sounds like a bad neutral wire. Somewhere the neutral is not properly connected. Most residential wiring operates on a 240 single phase system comprised of two seperate 120 volt legs. Connect between either leg to the neutral gives you 120 volts.connect btween the two legs gives you 240 volts. If the neutral is not present the circuit will search out the other leg to try to complete the circuit causing dimming of lights extremely bright lights and all around chaos. Check ahead of the main to see that the voltage is correct. Check each leg to neutral with a voltage tester. Have some one turn some lights on and off while checking as sometimes a load is required to get fluctuating readings. If the reading fluctuate wildly the problem is between the power grid and the panel. If not recheck on a a couple of breakers and if the readings fluctuate it is on your side of the system.
. Hope this helps

Drivers side window goes down 6" and stops. how do i remove the door panel to get access to the window mechanism to see what's stopping it?

The circuit breaker that is built in to the power window motor is weak and keeps cutting out.
When the window stops after a couple minutes it will move a bit again. That would be a faulty power window motor. You have to remove the complete window regulator system to change the motor.
There are 2 screws in the armrest by the door handle and plastic clips all around the door panel.
There is a hidden screw in behind the light at the back of the door panel if it has one.

Power windows stopped working

If ALL the windows quit working, then it's either a bad circuit breaker or a short circuit. There are two fuse/relay/breaker panels: under the hood and under the back seat cushion. The power window circuit breaker is under the back seat cushion, near the battery. Remove the back seat completely, then remove the fuse panel top and inner cover. The fuse diagram is inside the top cover. Circuit breaker # 57 is the one. Pull it out. Use your voltmeter/multi-tester to check for continuity through the breaker. If there's no continuity, the breaker is bad and needs to be replaced. If it's good, then you have a dead short somewhere that causes the self-resetting breaker to uncouple when you attempt to operate a window. If so, the short will need to be traced down and repaired. Good luck.

Our inverter microwave stopped completely and now has no power!

Amanda, If yours is newer construction (less than 40 years) the microwave is likely to have it's own circuit breaker in the electrical panel (in the garage or basement?) so no other lights or outlets might have gone out. I have never seen a microwave that had it's own user-replaceable fuse or circuit breaker.

My protron pltv3250 stopped working

The power supply in the pltv3250 is a known bad problem, and thankfully replacements are easy to find on ebay or other internet sellers. Symptoms are usually a red light or no power light and completely unresponsive to the touch panel or a remote. I was able to find one at for $59.00 plus shipping, far cheaper than others on ebay. Their part code is lcd 194-3f (194W LCD power supply). It takes approximately 30 minutes to replace, from removal of the base to re-installation of the base.

I have a Kitchenaid Dishwasher about 5 years old. It has completely stopped working no lights power nothing. Water standing in the bottom. We have flipped the breaker but it doesn't seem to be an...

Removed power line from panel board # 11 as seen in appliance parts pros and shocked the board. It came to life and completed a cycle nominally. Then it died again. Tried to shock it again and sometimes it works but most times it doesn/t. Similar posts indicate a transistor failure in the board assembly. The board is easy to replace and costs about 90$. I'm replacing mine. Turn off power. Remove #15 torx screws (6) from the upper cover and lean panel forward. Remove board power . Diagram where connectors go back. Board is held in with 6 clips. Gently push clips open on one side and tilt board to remove board and ribbon cable. Reverse installation.
