There is usually a sensor that you mount on your dash that allows line of site to satelites. Also, did you load the NAV DVD in your system already? If the answer is yes to both, you may need to reset your unit. There is usually a reset button on the front or rear of the unit. Or, you could disconnect your constant power for 15 min, to see if it does a dead reset. Hope this helps.

I own a 2002 pontiac montana. I need to remove the dvd player from the console and I do not know how. Please send instructions.

hello there, sorry but the DVD system you are refering to differs from unit to unit. The Pontiac Montana comes with various DVD sets depending on the country of car origin and the dealer. Please check the DVD system for the name and model information to enable us give you precise information on the removal of the system from its console. Hoping to hear from you soonest.

1988 BUICK RIVERIA CODE34 READING HELP ME PLEASE

DTC - 34 MAP Sensor Circuit Error (Signal Low Indicating High Vacuum)

The ECM uses the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor as an indication of engine load. High voltage would indicate low engine vacuum and higher engine load. Low voltage would indicate high engine vacuum and lower engine load. The ECM uses the information from this sensor to help calculate fuel delivery and spark timing.

Fault Code Description:
* 34 - MAP sensor circuit error (signal low indicating high vacuum)

Symptoms:
* Poor engine performance
* Engine running lean (not enough fuel, hard starting, lack of power)

Common Problems:
* GM MAP sensors do not commonly fail
* Due to erratic engine vacuum, other engine performance problems can cause a code 34 to set

Good luck (remember to rate this answer).

Japanese market orientated products are not compatible to USA FM tuning frequencies and the Dvd regions are different to. In short, you will not be able to tune in to a station or play a dvd disk unless the disk is all region.

When a dvd is in a warning comes upsaying it is unlawful to operate dvd without emergency brake on. Is there a bypass code?

There are many DVD's players that will not operate while in motion or in drive. You will need to take it to a stereo shop and have them by-pass the warning.
