My ac is charged and works; it blows cool but how or what do I need to do to make it blow colder? It has already been retrofitted for r134a.

the only way to make it colder is to set the thermostat colder in the evaporator or clean the muck out of the evaporator fins
Test the temperature at the vent by placing the thermometer in the vent and it should be around 10 degrees c
The temperature is not taken in the car as there is too much thermal efficiency lost form the vehicle
Remember that while air condition feels to produce cold air ,what is making you feel cool is the fact that the air conditioner is removing the humidity from the air in the car
Take it to an ac accredited service centre for testing as the TX valve may be partially blocked

My amana window ac is blowing condesation out the vents. it is still cooling..is this a problem

There is a condensation drain on the unit that is probably plugged. It is natural for air conditioning units to produce condensation as the evaporator coil (the coil/fins that make the air cold as a fan blows air across it ) is much colder than the outside air temperature ( usually between 38 and 55 degrees depending on the unit ). There is a basin or tray at the bottom of the unit that catches the condensation as it drips off the evaporator coil, and there is a drain that allows the water to drain form the unit. If this becomes plugged the water will build up and eventually drip out of the vents of the unit. http://www.air-conditioning-and-refrigeration-guide.com/air-conditioning-circuit-and-cycle-diagram.html
In the image, air is blown across the coil in the bottom left section of the picture ( this is the "cold' coil). Condensation can form on this.

Air conditioning is not cooling

If your AC is older you may want to have an HVAC technician check the charge level, The air from from the duct should be at least below 60 degrees F. Newer units blow much colder than that! If it is not reading that temperature they can try and recharge the unit and that should help a bit. Good luck!

About the only thing that it could be is a dirty coil,or some one over charge the system, I have seen just a layer of dust cause the compressor to cycle off to its thermal over load. Clean the coil.

I recently purchased a used ac for my rv. it has two and one had gone out. the air coming out of the new one only gets down to 60 degrees while the air out of my old one is 50 degrees. they are both the...

No it means you 50 degree one is working better than perfect. Clean the one that is only getting down to 60 degrees but remember if a unit is dropping the air temp by 20 degrees its working fine. You ck this by cking the air at the intake where the filter is say temp is 80 degrees and then take a reading at a discharge vent where the cold air comes out if its 60 you have a 20 degree drop and that is considered good. If the unit was low on freon the unit will freeze up (ice will form on the inside coil).
