If it's something around not more than two seconds, then I would say there's nothing wrong with it. Most customers complained that it has this problem, but their problem is different, means kind of freeze when typing. It seem this is a default problem with this model, and it's one of the cons of this model.

There are many more cons with this model like slow dialing response, slow voice recording problem.. etc.. but the most common issue is the keypad slow response. There is nothing more to help you since this is a default problem. I hope you understand.

It's best to check out the reviews of any product or consult an experienced person (like fixya) before you purchase any item so that you'd not regret. Better luck next time and we are always here to help you.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Power Button doesn't work

I have a Dell Studio laptop and sometimes some buttons become not responsive, including the power button. As for power button, I noticed that if you hold it for a few seconds, the laptop will turn on (at least in my case). The fix that works for me is as follows:

1. Turn the laptop off;
2. Disconnect the charger and take out the battery;
3. Wait for a few seconds;
4. Open the laptop lid (as you probably closed it while taking out the battery), push the power button and hold it for a few seconds. Nothing will happen as the laptop won't have any power, but it clears some sort of electrostatic load or whatever it's called;
5. Put the battery back in and turn on the laptop.

I used this for a few times, so perhaps it'll help in your case as well.

There is a delay between pressing button and photo being taken with my samsung s7000. The delay means that the subject (child) is out of view by the time the photo is taken.

Hi Susan, and welcome to FixYa-
I have had the exact problem that you are describing, albeit a different make and model of camera. Here's how I solved my issue:
I grabbed the nearest heavy object and smashed the camera....
No, but seriously, try this:
The S700 has the standard "Scene Selector" knob on the top. Make sure that this is NOT pointed toward (set to) the "Self Timer" option. The icon for this, on the camera's body, looks similar to the "Auto" setting icon.
The S700 has 3 timer modes: a 10 second delay, 2 second delay and a "Double" mode wherein the camera waits 10 seconds, takes one picture then, after an additional 2 second delay, will take a second picture. The delay must be selected by the user and will appear in your LCD viewing screen. Prior to taking a test picture, look in the display screen to see if any numbers appear. If you see any, you know that the camera is in the Self Timer mode. Simply rotate the button on top of the camera to the "Auto" icon and you'll be all set.
Good luck, and let us know how you go!

Brand new dell latitude e6510. been using it with no problem for a week. now when I tirn on none of the keys respond except for the button mouse in the middle of the keyboard. can't close open windows,...

Call Dell open a ticket and ship it back to them. Could be many things. Was anything spilled on the laptop or was the laptop violently jarred or dropped?

How do you remove sim card from a samsung knack?

Hi,
This phone is CDMA, so it does not have any sim card slot as it has inbuilt system which is directly operated by the service provider.
No other service provider is compatible with this phone.
Good luck

Delay of picture taking

This is normal behavior for most compact point&shoot cameras, especially one of such vintage. You can eliminate some (though not all) of the delay by pressing the shutter release button halfway to meter and focus, then press the button all the way at the peak moment.

My Samsung L100 Camera doesn't know how to flash once!

Most cameras flash twice; the first one is for setting the exposure, the second one is for real. About the best you can do is warn your targets that the camera is going to flash twice.

Yes, the L100 has a self-timer. Press Right on the selector (the clock icon) until the desired mode indicator appears on the display. Your choices are 10-second delay, 2-second delay, double self-timer, and motion timer.

The self-timer is described on pages 29-30 in my copy of the manual.

Keyboard Buttons not working

Sounds to me like somebody may have spilled something onto the keyboard. You could try to take the keyboard out and reseat it to see if that solves it. If not then the keyboard is bad and will have to be replaced.
