Missing parts to the Galileo FS-102NT Telescope

We acquired the Galileo FS-102NT Telescope from a friend. It is missing some parts; the tension spring and washer nob, the accessory tray, the CD Rom, the color filter wheel, the 3X barlow. Also missing 6.8 to 16 mm zoom. 56X-126X, end of bracket 396X w/3x barlow. What resource can we go to to find these parts? Thanks.

You can contact Galileo scopes directly here;
http://www.galileosplace.com/

Some of what you need may be available at a well stocked hardware store.

Eyepieces, and barlows can be bought from many on-line retailers. Here is one:
http://agenaastro.com/

The CD rom is probably just a planetarium software. You can download free software here:
www.stellarium.org

The scope does not need computer software to operate. However, you will find the free software above very helpful in learning the sky. Color filters are really NOT very useful; only the moon filter is needed which you can buy from the retailer listed above.

Actual proprietary parts like the accessory tray must be bought directly from Galileo telescopes. But a hardware store will have springs and bolts and nuts.

Have one complete willing to sell all minus erecting barlow. and have refracting that came in same kit. Suitcase foam zipersleeves for scopes and tripods, zipper poutches for counter weights and acessories. All works perfectly minor usage wear.

We were given this as a gift with no manual. The on button must have been on a very long time. Is there a part, battery etc. that would need to be replaced in order to see out of it?

This appears to be a reflector telescope on an ALT AZ mount. It does not need power to be used. You might be referring to a red dot lighted finder scope on top of the main tube, which does have a small watch battery inside. The battery is available at Wal Mart and many other places.

Contact Galileo scopes for a manual here:

Bei meinem Galileo FS-102NT befindet sich ein schwarzer Fleck in der Mitte des Reflektors. Ist das in Ordnung? Ich sehe absolut nichts wenn ich rein schaue.

Dies ist kein Fehler. Die Markierung wird benutzt, das Teleskop einzustellen. Es ist im Schatten des sekund?ren Spiegels w?hrend Beobachtungen nicht so beeinflusst das Bildnis.

I can't to get the telescope to focus. May have parts missing from moving. The Mars finder might be missing a part also. Is there somewhere I can take it to have it looked at?

I bought a used Galileo FS-120DX reflector telescope on a garage sale. It is missing the eye-piece, instruction book, screw to attach the scope tube to the tri-pod and possibly some weights that attach to...

You may be able to call Galileo telescopes and order the parts.

http://www.galileosplace.com/

If not and if the eyepiece is a 1.25 inch (measure the hole in the focuser), then you can buy eyepieces and weights from several different retailers on-line:

http://www.agenaastro.com/

http://www.optcorp.com/

The screw you can find at a well stocked hardware store.
