T104R3 Timer moving but automatic turn no longer works I mistakenly released the pointer metal (should not do that) and reattached it, probably pointing to different time. the clock is working, but...

Replace trippers.
If timer dial is rotating and keeps good time, and manual override turns load on-and-off, then replace the trippers.

Stationary pointer points at 6:00 and moving it does not affect timer function.
The pointer is reference point for setting current time.

How to I click the red clip back onto the dial of my Intermatic Outdoor Light Timer? Thank you

Timer is not identified
Usually you line up tripper with hour or half-hour shown on dial, and then push the tripper all the way down into place.
Some older timers require you to push in the center part of timer and then insert tripper.

I have lost one of the little plastic pegs on my 24 hour timer.. where can i get replacements?

Only plastic trippers on market are for Intermatic:
http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=intermatic+timer+trippers&tag=googhydr-20&index=aps&hvadid=5156211581&ref=pd_sl_1b2t69w1k6_b

The reason for this: Low cost of buying new timer.
Trippers plus shipping-handling cost more than most new timers.

Look at timers on following links to find replacement that suits your purpose:

I need replacement clips to a hb31r timer, were can i find them?

I have 2 links to plastic Intermatic trippers.
I search timers each day, and have not run across a different plastic Intermatic tripper.
images on page will let you compare with your tripper:

http://www.hottubwarehouse.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=156PB10398A

If this tripper is correct, add a comment and help fixya community give this information to others asking same question.

If this tripper is incorrect, then HB31 tripper may not be available.
Large number of timers do not have replacement trippers.

You can also take advantage of fixya phone support.

HOW DO YOU TURN THE LITTLE GREY BOX OFF COMPLETELY? HOW DO YOU BY-PASS THE GREY BOX?

The timer is a 24 hour type, designed specifically for use with electric water heaters. The simplest way to keep the water heater on 24 hours a day is to remove the "trippers". The "trippers" are the movable black and silver metal clips that are held on the edge of the time dial with thumbscrews. Unscrew the thumbscrew on all the trippers and remove the tripper for the time dial.

Just below the time dial, you'll find the manual switch lever. On some models, it pokes through an opening on in the door / front cover - on others it can only be operated by opening the door. Move this manual switch lever to your choice of on or off position. The switch will not longer be operated automatically - and will stay in the position you have chosen until you or someone else changes it.

Please rate this reply - good luck!

If I understand correctly, you need tripper pins for a Paragon timer
http://www.paragontimecontrols.com/parts_accessories.htm
At page bottom is a chart with model number and the tripper required
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html

The two links above help you identify your timer model and identify the tripper.
After identifying tripper number, you have to do a google search for that tripper number

So, if you need more help, please answer back and we'll find the right timer and pin

If you have Intermatic timer, then you can buy pins at Grainger
