Question about HP Computers & Internet
Are you referring to mozilla firefox is what you don't like? but that browser is working for you? Also when you mean you can't access do you mean internet explorer doesn't open at all or does it not connect to web pages after it is open? I would try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. You can download it at this link just select your country and your operating system to get the right version.

Microsoft's Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) browser includes "add-on" applications that can be downloaded and installed from Microsoft, or third-party providers, into Internet Explorer.
Occasionally, add-ons may conflict with other add-ons or software on the computer, causing errors.
These can also occur when IE settings conflict with newly installed add-ons.
Resolve add-on related error conditions quickly in IE8 by resetting Internet Explorer to Microsoft defaults.
Click the "Start" button. Click "Run" or "Search," and type "inetcpl.cpl in the "Run" or "Search" box, and press the "Enter" key.
Select the "Advanced" tab in the "Internet Options" window, then click the "Reset" button.
Click the "Reset" button again to confirm that you wish to reset Internet Explorer to Microsoft defaults.
Select the "Close" button, once the display indicates that the reset process has been completed.
Click the red "X" in the upper-right corner of Internet Explorer to close the browser.
Open Internet Explorer and the errors should be resolved.
Experience problems with Internet Explorer 7 right off the bat, and it may be due to installation problems.
Make sure you reboot twice after installing the new browser.
Download any updates for IE7.
Check the Microsoft website for recommended updates if you don't have automatic updates turned on for your computer.
Check your add-ons, those "extras" like ActiveX controls for your browser, if you still experience problems.
After accessing "manage add-ons" through the "Tools" menu in your browser window, disable all add-ons, and try browsing.
If you can successfully browse without errors on the page, then one of your add-ons may be the culprit. Enable add-ons one at a time and try browsing.
Once you find the problem, delete it or update the add-on to work with Internet Explorer 7.
Contact Microsoft if a website denies permission for entering when it shouldn't.
It could be a problem with document. domain property or the protocols of the URLs not matching.
Adjust security settings in the browser if you still experience page error messages.
Select the "Tools" menu and access "Internet Options." Under the "Security" tab, choose "Custom Level" to pull up the security settings window and review for possible problems.
