Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
The problem is not related to memory. My guess is the PS3 is over heating. Reasons include
1)You have placed it in a closed place(tv cabinet etc.,). If yes then move it to a location that is open and has no enclosures.
2)Your heat sink compound is dried up. A common fault in PS3s. If the unit is under warranty sony should fix it for you free of cost.
