What model camera? What type of memory card?

Some Nikon cameras work only with SD cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot they will not work. Without knowing the model, I can't tell whether this is the case.

I dont know how to start to to put my pictures in files

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Does a brand new right out of the package Sony memory stick pro duo require formatting before initial use in cybershot DSC-W50 camera?

There should be no need to format the card, just plug it straight in and snap a few photos...the camera will let you know if the card needs to be formatted

Lost our camera to computer via USB need to know where I am able to purchase new one or any other options

Consider NOT connecting the camera to the computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. And even if you have to buy a card reader, it's not going to cost you any more than buying the appropriate USB cable.

We just purchased a new sd card for our vivitar camera and we cannot take apicture because the "card is full" how can we unfill and revview the pictures if their are any

plug the camera into the computer via usb cable. Then open up my computer. You should then see 2 new devices listed as drives. One will be the sd card. From what i can tell this device uses windows mass storage device. So you should just see in a drive letter like d:\ is your dvd/cd-rom. So look on the memory card and see what the free space is or what files are on the card. If the card looks full you may need to format the card then try to use it.
If its a micro sd, or just a sd and you have a sd/micro sd card slot on your computer you can actually just plug it in there for the same effect.
one thing to check is make sure since the card is new there isnt a lock on the card. There usually is a little white tab on the memory card. This is a lock to prevent erasing and adding new data. Make sure it is in the unlock position. Please let me know what happens from there and if you need further explanation or assistance please let me know. Thanks, Midwest-tek

I took picture w/o SD card. Don't know how to transfer to SD

Search the menus for an entry for "copy". It should give you the option to copy the internal memory to a memory card. You could also take the camera and a usb connecting cord to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture maker machine. You can plug the camera into the usb slot and print the picture.

When i try to upload videos with my samsung s730 the camera shuts

Eliminate the use of software and cables connected to the camera. And use a CARD READER. It's a plug and play device, $8 to $12 walmart, big lots etc. It plugs into a USB port on your computer and you take the memory card out of your camera and plug it into the card reader. Once card is in, go to "MY COMPUTER", and find the new device - open it up and there are all your pictures. A camera memory card is basicly nothing but a flash drive. Now you can do anything you want to the pics. Photo shop them, delete what you want, etc. HAVE FUN!
