Yesterday my iphone felt on the ground and now there is a burst on the top left of the screen. The consequence now is that the touchscreen does not work anymore, only on the top part. I cannot use the unlock 'slider' anymore, nor type in the password of my sim card.
Is there anyway I can fix this. Can apple fix this by putting in a new screen up or something? I live in Barcelona, Spain and just have it for a month now.
I hope you can help me!

Thank you very much!

Take to the Apple Store for repair to one of those Mall kiosks that change batteries and also repair cracked screen for $48. They will take it apart and see what is wrong. There are YouTube videos that show how to strip them down, but getting spares from ebay is risky.
On your iphone touch contacts, then touch the contact you want, then touch edit at the top right of screen. Edit your info and then touch done at the top right of screen. Next open up itunes and then plug your USB cord up to the iphone and computer ports and wait for the ipod to show up under the devices on the left side of the screen. Then click on the ipod icon that shows up under devices at the left of the screen. Click on the info tab at the far right on top. Make sure the box is checked that says "Sync Address Book Contacts" Underneath that heading click on sync all contacts. Then click on Sync at the bottom right of the screen. Give the system a few minutes to do its thing and it will tell you on the computer screen when it is done syncing.
do as i say i think it will work ...........
Step 1. Turn off your iPhone.
Step 2. Hold down the power and home button.
Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.
Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that its in restore mode.
if is not water damage , apple should repair it. If not well open the iphone go to youtube see vid how to open it. turn off iphone open it just pull off #1 and put back in. that's the lcd connector. This should work if not take #1 then #2 and # 3 put all conector back that should work. #1 Lcd conectot #2 is the Digitizer #IS the ligth. If you got gray lines the lcd may be broken.
Not really much of a solution for a cracked LCD (that's what you're dealing with) outside of a new phone or a new LCD. If you left it on the ground, it either took a hit, or got too hot (southern US would get plenty hot enough to do this). Sorry, but you may want to start saving up for an insurance claim.
