I'll need to know a little more before I can do more than take a blind shot at the problem. Is the problem the format of your monitor or is your computer booting into a non-standard Windows format or something else?

How do I format an unformatted disc?

Unless it is a read/write disc, you will not be able to reuse it. If it is read/write, you will see the letters RW on the disc. You could put it in the computer and try and format it. Make sure that you format it and not another (hard) drive or USB on your system, because you won't be able to get the information back from a formatted disc.

Good luck,

Hi My pendrive is write protwcted, Pendrive is

Some pen drives have a small toggle switch with them which make the drive write protected try locating that switch. If there is no such switch then try formatting the drive preferably from safe mode. you can do this by following these steps:
1. Shutdown your computer or laptop
2. Insert USB Memory Stick into your laptop or Computer
3. Turn on laptop and then immediately start pressing (Fcool.png key then Advanced Boot Options screen will come up
4. Select Safe Mode with Command Prompt
5. After loading files if your USB Memory Stick drive letter is (G) for example then write as
6. C:\windows\system32>G: and press enter
7. G:\>format G: and press enter
8. If ask you (Y/N) then press (Y) and press enter
9. Now a full format will start which remove write protection from USB Memory Stick.

Fomatting not possible it says write protection

Try this, It might work:

i) Try to put Pen Drive or USB in usb port and insert an Windows XP CD and try restarting start and i    think u the know procedure of formating Window XP or reload OS(let me say that i'm not formating      or reloading OS on ur system, there is small procedure over there after that u can use system            normally....)

ii) when u reach a blue screen that show all the partitions of ur system (like C: D: E:  ....), observe it     will also show ur usb partition(mention memory....) separately,,, try to use this  option :

    Delete Partition by pressing D(usb partition being highlighted...) and then follow instruction .....and     now  u will see that there is no partition letter(such as D, E , F) assinged to ur usb
    Now Create an partition on that by pressing C ... this will create an partition and it will retain or           give  name or lettering to it(such as D, E, F)

    after this donot continue format the system, just exit from by pressing ESC button .... and ur             system will start normally, usb now u will be able format.... from now..

Thanking you,

M. Sridhar.

To form a jumbled words

Using VB as an example

Dim intLength as Integer
Dim y as Integer
Dim arrOut( ) as String
Dim TempLetter as String
ReDim arrOut(intLength)
dim boolDone as boolean ' flag to track unfilled positions

Write a loop that gets each letter from text1, then choose a random number from 1 to intLength

Get the existing letter, then put it into a different position in the arrOut, based on the random number. If something is in that position, try again:

for y=1 to intLength
tempLetter = mid(text1.text,y,1)
do while boolDone=false
r =CInt(Int((y * Rnd()) + 1)) 'Get random # from 1 to length
if arrOut(r) ="" then 'see if spot has been used
arrOut(r) = tempLetter
boolDone = true
end if
next 'get next letter in text1

text2.text=join(arrOut,"") ' concatenate arrOut, no delimiter.

Hope that helps.
