Question about Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop
Even though you may not even be touching the touchpad, touchpads and the tiny ribbon cables that connect them to the motherboard (directly under the keyboard) can be so sensitive that they activate the cursor just from typing alone.
Here's a great little app you can download that disables the touchpad ONLY while keystrokes are being made. It's saved a ton of my clients (and myself) alot of grief. If it doesn't solve your problem, then you can repost and move ahead with further help in tracking down the problem.
