Take it to pieces and try to dry out naturally all the component pieces in an airing cupboard not with direct heat like on a radiator.

Then reassemble this works about 60% of the time it all depends upon how wet it got.

Driver side wet when rains

The air intakes at the base of the windshield are supposed to direct rain water to drainage ducts in the front door pillars. The ducts can become clogged with leaves and debris. This may be the source of water on the carpet.

My Memorex MMP8565 1Gb MP3 Player got wet in some rain and I haven't been able to start it up for the past week. How do I fix this?

If the unit got wet then the internal components might be damaged. Make sure it is completely dry before attempting to use it again. This player has a reset hole where you can insert a paper clip.

If this reset does not work, probably the water that that got inside the player shorted out a board or the battery.
My sandisk mp3 player /FM is not working

you did not explain exactly what is happening with your sansa m240 mp3 player.

have you recently gotten it wet. ie did it fall in the sink, did you wear it in the pouring rain? if you have i have some very bad news for you. My sansa died after it got wet, the radio refuses to turn in it just continuosly climbs through the available frequencies. it takes lots of playing around with it manually some times i lucked out and got a radio station to work if that happened the would all work. sometimes i could not get one station to work on days ike that it never worked at all...

If the m240 flash and chipset gets wet, even if correctly dried they never seem to work right again. at this point it is best to replace the mp3 player. with how cheap many models are at walmart i am advising many people to replace the sansa with a new model perhaps one of the sansa fuse with the micro sd expansion slot

4 gb sansa plus upto 32 gb more on expansion... works great and holds a small ton of music/ browse for your new one now.

My philipps 2gb mp3 doesnt turn on any more (didnt use it in long time). maybe got wet, because was at window when raining. can you please help me?

Maybe you did get it wet..
Maybe it has run out of battery..
Try connecting it to Itunes.. and restoring it back to its original settings.. it happens to me ALOT.. as long as you have all of your songs saved on Itunes.. you can just sync them back on when it has restored it.. If it doesn't connect then.. i'm guessing you got it wet.. take it back to the shop and pretend its faulty.. xPP It always works :)

Ipod nano went through the wash

its gone (unless through some fluke it survived) they are NOT made to come in contact with water. (don't leave one out in the rain either) most electronics CANNOT continue operation after being washed or getting wet unless they specify otherwise (even water proof electronics may not survive the wash) just a friendly warning.

Ipod got wet while riding in the rain, now it doesn't work

Well if you know it got wet the first thing would be to let it dry out completely before even trying to power it on. If you did attempt to power it on while it was wet you may have shorted it out.

It's a matter of preference as to what you want to do from here, if you don't have a warranty on it anymore you may have to buy a new one.

There is little even a repair shop could do, as they would have to replace the components and would cost around the same as a new one.

Dear beckiedadd

You should have let it untouched for 2-3 days for the water droplets to get dried on the inside part of it. But since ur getting a blank screen, this clearly indicates that u have spoiled the mp3 player. Try to open up the mp3 player and clean the droplets. And finally charge.
