Question about KitchenAid Superba Architect KSCS25INSS Side by Side Refrigerator
Hello, we had a similar problem and they replaced the module. About a month
later it stopped making ice and it was due to the waterline at the top
of the freezer being frozen. Service man chipped out the ice then the
water flowed into the trays. He stated that the line froze due to
excessive humidity in the freezer (no real cause - we're a two person
household and don't give it excessive use). Service guy suggested we
place a box of baking soda in the freezer every 3 months.
One other cause for excessive humidity is the possibility that the flap on the ice dispenser in the door does not close fully. I've noticed that when it does make ice, the ice tends to clump up in the container(in the door). Which leads me to believe that the flap is indeed not closing fully.
