How do I reach my voicemail on the Panasonic KX-T633? When I press the 'message' button it just calls another extension.

To change the behavior of the message button on a Panasonic KX-DT543 phone, you will need to access the programming menu and change the settings for that button.

1. Press the 'Menu' button on the phone.
2. Press the '#' button followed by the 'Admin' button.
3. Enter the administrator password.
4. Press the 'Menu' button again, then select 'System Programming'.
5. Scroll through the options and select 'Button Assignment'.
6. Find the button labeled 'Message' and select it.
7. Change the extension number to the desired voicemail extension.
8. Press the 'Save' button to confirm the changes.

Press the FWD/DND button.

The KX-T7453 phone does not have a message function, you may have an associated voicemail on your system. Try dialing (on the intercom) extension 165 if you do not have a voicemail button. Are you trying to change the greeting for your individual phone or the main greeting people hear when they call your company?
This gets a lot more complicated and you should contact your vendor.

With the headset off, push the intercomm button or SP-PHONE button, then once you hear the speaker is on do do this.
Push the STAR sign which is * and then number 700 and your four digit extension.
For example ( *7000422).

When you press the message button, look at the display. Is it really going to the VM extension or is it going to another phone? Othre people could have left you a message by calling you and pressing the MESSAGE buttone either on purpose, or by accident.

You can clear ALL message lights from your phone by dialing *700 plus your extension and #. Of course you can access VM by dialing the VM extension, usually 165 or 500 from the intercom.

If you have a Panasonic brand voice mail, you press #6 * and your extension, then the password.

Probably not, but the voice mail extension is still a dialable number. Try 500 or 165 or asking whoever installed it what the extension is.

It will prompt you the same as if you had pressed the MESSAGE button, only there will not be any new messages. You just have to play the OLD messages and you'll hear them.

Someone has to answer the Message Waiting call to cancel...or, try dialing 700 plus your extension to cancel ALL MW lights.

Since you did not mension the phone system type I am assuming it is a Digital like the KX-TD500. You can transfer direct to voicemail if you have a VT ( Voicemail Transfer ) button on your phone. When you want to transfer the party you are talking to, press VT and dial the extension/mailbox number you wish to transfer the call to and hang up to complete the transfer. If you do not have a VT key you can program one of your flexable buttons as a VT key by pressing your PROGRAM button, dial 9 9, press the button to be programmed, dial 8 and the voicemail extension number, press AUTO DIAL/STORE and then press PROGRAM to exit station programming.
