I have used these systems in Europe for the last three years-
    with the noted IP address

    i.e. between Geneva and Vienna.

Now I am trying to have a onference between Oklahoma USA and Vienna- on identical machines
    but with the 'above' problems

Such problems usually arise as a result of various factors. These factors include the following:
- If the service is down at the particular moment you are trying to use it could be from either end.
- If the other user does not have the required hardware to make use of the video conferencing service or the other party's device is not properly connected to receive.
- try checking all your connections at the back of the device
- Also since you say it rings and then does not get picked the receiver might me unavailable and auto-answer feature might be turned of.
If all this have been confirmed not to be the cause then try checking your time settings on the device as this causes little problems at times. Also contact your service provider to confirm if the receivers information is correct as this could also be a problem and also the status of your service should be checked with provider.
Hope this has been helpful.

    to rockmeister-

I've done those things, in fact I am on the telephone at the same time, while trouble shooting.

The Date and Time are wrong-- but

I don't know how to set-

the machine says March 17th 2013

Do I need a Bridge or Gateway.

I'm going from one system in the United States

to a system used by my NonGovernmentalOrganization

Sorry my response was delayed i had to ask around a bit more..with my findings the first thing i should ask is if you have used it successfully in the US before? If not then you should contact your service provider as the system will have to be reconfigured to indicate that you are connecting from the US...do this and let me know.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

We are unable to turn a ringer on, for when the general number rings, on one Mitel 5020 IP Phone, and we would like to make it so another phone doesn't have to hear the ring on the general number ring.

This is set on the buttons for the phone from within the system programming. Individual buttons can be set to NO Ring, Ring, Ring Continuous, Delay Ring, or Delay Ring Continuous.

Continuous meaning that even if you are on the phone, it will ring audibly on your phone. If it's not set to continuous, it will only give a blip.

You should contact your vendor for assistance in setting this up.

How do I get the AM900 fax to work? We lost the book. We hooked it up to the phone line. It rings when the number is called, but it does not connect.

How many rings before it goes back to normal display? There is a possibility that your machine is set to "phone" not fax reception. You can do it right there in the control panel. Look for reception button and select fax, then try again.

When turn on always says poor satellite reception,

Hi Carlos,

You are receiving that message because the GPS is unable to acquire satellites. Satellite reception can be limited due to one or more of the follow reasons: Poor view of the sky, GPS antenna not deployed, used indoors or other internal problems.

Try taking the device outside in full view of the sky - preferably with little or no tree cover, tall buildings, etc. and allow up to 2 minutes to acquire satellites.

If unable to acquire, it may require return to Garmin for repair. Contact Garmin based on your location and product below:

Static IP on machine, now can't access web sites

Please see the related article on assigning a static IP address behind the router. If you still can not access websites, please try changing the static IP address you're using. For example if you're using the address 192.168.1.2, try 192.168.1.200. If that does not work please try the same static IP address on a different computer to see if it can use the information. If it can please try reinstalling your network card. If that doesn't work please contact Linksys Technical Support.
