Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Must press "cancel" in order to hang up - cannot hang up normally.

Your phone may be in headset mode. There could be a key on your phone that would toggle it on or off. If you have this key on your phone it would be lit. If there is no key, you would need to enter a feature code to deactivate this feature.

The free phone call at gmail doesn't work

Google offers free calling online via its Google Voice service and your Gmail account.
As of the date of this publication, the free service only applies to calls made to phones within the United States.

Activating the service requires modifying your Gmail settings.
Once you've changed the settings to enable outbound voice calls to phones, you can make calls from Google's dialing system through the Gmail "Chat" area.

Set up a headset, or microphone and speakers, on your computer to use during the call.
Sign in to your Gmail account.

Click the gear-shaped icon at the top-right corner of the screen and select "Mail settings" from the drop-down menu.

Click the "Chat" tab to see the Chat options, then set up your voice chat features. Verify the audio settings in the "Voice and video chat" section, then click the circle to the left of "Enable outbound voice calling with Google Voice" and select your default country in the "Call Phones" area.

When finished, click the "Save Changes" button. Scroll down to the "Chat" area in your Gmail and click the "Call phone" option to open the "Call" window that features the dialer number keypad.

Check that the flag to the left of the phone number field in the "Call" window matches your country so that Google Voice dials using the correct country code.

If it isn't the correct flag, click the down arrow to the right of the flag and select the correct one. Enter the number of the phone you want to call, then click the "Call" button to dial the number.

When you're finished, click "End" to disconnect the call or wait for the other person to hang up; the system automatically disconnects shortly after.

Outgoing calls from my cell (nokia 7230 bought in Dec 2010) frequently are not heard by receipent .

Your microphone is bad. You would have to work on the microphone.
To confirm that, try making your calls using a hands free device.
If they hear your properly, then it confirms that the phone microphone is bad.
Take the phone to a repairer to get this done. But in the mean time, uyou can make and receive your calls with the hands free device.

But if using the hands free device still poses the same problem, then it is a network problem. You would then have to contact your mobile service operators for further help.

Hope that was helpful?
Success.

When i answer a call i cannot be heard

Hello,

The problem with your phone is the mouth piece, the mouth piece of your phone is bad that is why you cannot be heard while you call.

I advice you replace the mouth piece by changing the mouth piece on your phone. replace the mouth piece and you will see that you will be heard after you replace it.

Meanwhile, you can be using your hands free while calling before you replace the mouth piece.

Take care.
