There should be two cables coming from your monitor -- one that hooks up to the computer and one that goes to the outlet, for power. The outlet cable looks almost like a normal power cable, with three prongs on one end and three holes on the other end.

The cable that hooks to your computer is likely a serial cable, with a blue connector that hooks up to the blue port on the back of your PC. Instead of the serial connector, you might have a DVI connector, which is skinnier and should have a removable white cap on it. If your computer has a DVI port, than you can use the DVI cable, otherwise you'll have to use the serial cable (with the blue connector).

Hope that helps.

Most monitors only have one cable going from the monitor to pc. It is a multi-pin connector normally with thumb screw posts on either side to prevent it from being pulled out. Unless your monitor has built in speakers then you will have one additional connection to the speaker output on your pc. The only other connection will be AC power for the monitor. The speaker connection is not needed for the monitor to work you just will not get any sound!

Thanks, Gary

How to hook up Panasonic SB PM19 speakers to SA-PM23 reciever

yes you can. these are called "bi wired" speakers which means there's a hook up for the woofer and the tweeter individually. If your amp have just 2 speaker hookups it's no problem to hook the woofer/tweeter wires of each speaker together. If your amp had 4 speaker hookups, you could put the tweeters in 1 and the woofers in the other but it will still work fine with 2 speaker hookups.

Hook up for the audio on the front panel

When you are looking at the motherboard with the CPU and memory slots on the right, the audio hookup is up on the edge of the motherboard on the left. It's the last set of pins in the upper left side of the motherboard. If you have an audio jack in the front of the machine, you should have an audio cable just hanging there somewhere that is not hooked up. Hook it to the audio connector that I described.

http://www.colomar.com/Shavano/dvc_spkr_wiring.html

Use the above site for several wiring schematics on dual voice coil speaker hookups. It will show how to wire for different impedance.
Also, I think the CVR 12's come in 2 ohm and 4 ohm impedance. See if you can check yours to determine which you have....

Extra wire /fan 3pin hole 1wire where to plug in X 2 fans

If your cpu fan has a 4 pin connector & your mb has a 3 pin you can still use it. Just leave one pin exposed. The extra pin is for a speed control sensor that not all mb's support. The chassis fan has a different connector on the board marked "cha fan". This one is a 3 pin connector. Most of the asus boards have 1 of these. If you wish to run more than one you can either buy a "y" adapter that allows you to connect 2 fans to 1, you could use an extra 4 pin molex to power an extra fan but that would give you no control over the fan, or you could buy a fan controller and hook all your extra fans to it. Hope this helps & please take a moment to rate my solution fixya. Thanks.

Wiring hookup instructions for ecs 945 gct -m mATX motherboard

Hi joe, if you're question refers to ECS 945GCT-M motherboard, than goto page 12 in the manual. You'll see this
77d37bb.jpg Please read all of pg.12.
It's my guess you bought this board from powerspec. For now forget the two red wires & just hook up the case's wires for all LED's & on/off. Everything should be just fine.

Good Luck!

Amp is on but nothing coming out of Sub

If one amp works inthe same place same wiring same hookup, and the other one dosent, It got to be a bad amp or the way its being hooked up. Make sure the standby is hooked up properly. Get the wiring diagram for instalation for both amps and look at them side by side. If the dead amp is supose to work then Im sure by comparing hookup your gonna say "AAAWWWWW I See Now!!" Good Luck
