Question about Samsung LN46A650 46 in. LCD HDTV
We turn on the TV but no picture comes up. The TV then turns itself off and on again continuously and the only way to stop it is to unplug it.
You may have problem due to unstable power supply due to bad DC filter caps, or short circuits in the backlight inverter board that caused the power supply to go into the shutdown mode, those are the two areas to check. You can try disconnecting the inverter board from the power supply to see if other functions of the TV will come back.
