There is a repair kit for these haier sets part# TV-3910-01
you can try encompassparts.com and make sure this kit fits your model. The kit includes a few boards that need to be installed together.

Haier lcd deaD

Good day!!!!

Commonly that trouble is cause of faulty capacitors on power supply board...

Please follow this step on how to fix that problem on your own..
  1. Open the back cover of your TV.
  2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..
  3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..
  4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..
  5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter..
I hope this solution will be helpful...

Thanks for using fixya...

Hi I have a ViewSonic monitor and when you start it, it comes on but it goes black. You can see that the image is in , it starts blinking ,but you can see that the image is there. I changed the cable...

It may have bad caps, transistors in the power supply/inverter circuits as you can see here:
http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/VIEWSONIC/Viewsonic%20VX715/

If you are going to DIY and already try the monitor with another PC, and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed VIEWSONIC monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Haier HL26R COMCAST REMOTE CODE

what kind of comcast remote do you have please describe, black and silver, dta, and especially important what color is the OK/select button grey or red. If the Ok/select button is red the codes are 11034, 10768, if the ok select button is grey there are no codes, however you can use the search option listed below

step 1 press the tv button located at the top of the remote
step 2 press and hold the setup button located on the upper right of the remote until the tv button blinks red 2 times.
step 3 enter code 991 the tv button will blink 2 times again
step 4 alternate pressing the grey Power button then the tv button located at the top of the remote ( the tv will turn off when it finds the correct code)
step 5 press the Setup button when the tv turns off and the tv button will blink 2 times confirming the code is locked in

FYI this process can take quite some time but there is no direct code listing for the non dvr remotes.

Good Luck

Viewsonic N3251w 32inch LCDTV that does not have

It's most likely a capacitor. Open up your television, and look at your power circuit board. Look to see if any of the capacitors are blown.(the will be bulging look up an image of a blown capacitor to get a better image if not known already. Mine was (CS19, CS21, CS22, CS23) Also on (C672) from the Circuit Board. Can you look at the voltages of these for me? I'm missing the capacitors.

Fuse Blowing

A blown fuse is usually caused by a shorted regulator or a bridge rectifier circuit. Either way it is a problem in the primary power supply. A bad cord won't blow the fuse in the set, it will blow a circuit breaker in the house. A servicer usually would normally cover the inside of the set with a "few light slits in the AC cord". Hope this helps
