Question about GE JKP45 Electric Double Oven
I have a GE double oven model JKP54GOP and after running the self clean cycle, the top oven has remained locked 24 hours later. I turned off the circuit breaker but the door remained locked. The "locked" indicator also doesn't go away. I can remove the door by lifting it out. I tried to move the lock arm but is it firmly stuck. Is there a way to release it? Is the problem electrical or mechanical?
Thanks for your help,
You may have a bad door lock . in this case replace. but first reinstall the door and run a new clean cycle and see if it unlocks .. mm
