Question about Kenmore 63792 Microwave Oven
When cooking something I opened the door to stir the food. When I closed the door to start cooking again the time just said :
Its like the power went off for some reason in the middle of cooking. any ideas
Your microwave safety interlock mechanism is faulty. They are hooked right into the main power . Its very complex...the schemnatic looks like a safety system for a nuclear warhead or something -- it's overkill.
But microwaves are involved. Sometimes you can clean them but my experience is taht once they go they're gone because the door latches are just plastic and they do wear down and simply won't have enough material on them to get all the switches to work.
