Question about HP Officejet 6310 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I have problem with black cartridge on hp officejet 6310. I think that there is trouble with electrical conectors in black cartridge becouse when I put it again inside the printer everything is ok when printing first 3 or 4 pages but then he stops printing and displays error said that black cartridge did not exist.what can I do ?

Wipe the ink cartridge connection side with alcohol and a tissue or q-tip and try again. If still having problems rub with an eraser and then the alcohol again. If still have the problem, remove both cartridges, pull the pwr plug and hold down OK and cancel buttons for 10 sec while plugging it back in. Printer will reset to out of the box new. Turn on and install cartriges and do an alignment.

1. Remove all cartridges and turn off printer
2. Unplug printer and wait one minute
3. hold down # and 9 while plugging power cord back in.
4. Wait a few seconds, then press the power button.
5. Display should read "Full Null Reset"
6 Only install color cartridge. Close cover
7. Wait for machine to ask for black cartridge, then open cover and install black cartridge.
8. Close cover
9. Alignment page should be printed automatically.

Hi,
Lift the whole of the scanner section and you can get at the twin ink cartridges. The two Vivera ink cartridges, one for black and the other tri-colour, clip into their carriers and apart from loading paper, that's the only physical installation required. No, for color cartridge 344 and black 339 cartridge.

hello, some of the time the color ink cartridge can cause the problem, especially if its a refilled ink, but at same time, i do know some of the new inks right out of the box will fail. so try with a new color cartridge first.

HP Officejet 6310 won't let me use just a color cartridge


that is because it actualy uses black to make some of the colors. Color ink cartridge does not contain the full spectrum of colors. Printer uses black,red,yellow and blue and mixes these to make all other colors.

The 6310 takes a #95 tri-color cartridge. #901 is for Officejet 4500 and 4600 series printers.

Hi for solution do this
First put out of the printer the Ink Cartriges then
press 4 + # + OK this send you a info menu
with the nav. Keys go to CHECKSUM FOR RELOCK DATA IMPUT press Ok 5 times . Then Go out there by pressing Cancell Button ant there you go if this dosnt work at the 1rs time you need 2 o 3 times more to ensure relock data ok
