Question about Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-20FV300 20" TV
All of the sudden, telivision starting changing channels on its own. it would go to 6 then 66 and display turned to 666. Thought it was a remote control problem so took the batteries out of it and same problem occured. Tried covering remote control receptor with finger and that only delayed the switching. this morning, I was able to get it to stay on one channel but the display went back to 666.
Sounds like a bit of a devil(lol),could be interferance from a device causing this problem, have you got a flourecent light in the room, this is known to interfere with the tv's remote sensor, also try taking the batteries out of the remote???
Failing this it could be a fault in the tv,an i.c. has become corrupted and will need software to be re-installed but this is the worst case scinario.
