The problem might be; you have not installed the google voice and video chat plugin for gtalk. You can install it by going to this link : http://www.google.com/chat/video.
If you have already done this try removing your current gtalk installation and reboot your machine then reinstall gtalk again and install the voice and video plugin. This might solve your problem.
If the problem exists even after the above solutions are tried, then it might be your slower internet connection.

Sorry for the above answer, it is mistakenly typed here.

The solution for this post is :

It is possible that your firewall may be blocking google talk from accessing the servers and being connected. If you have a firewall then reconfigure it to enable internet access to google talk. You can get instructions for configuring some of the most popular firewalls from http://www.google.com/support/talk/bin/a....

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Problem for Google Talk Could not connect to google talk service (error 1)

You wil get this error if there is a firewall/antivirus/antispyware/security settings that is blocking google talk.
  1. temporarily disable the firewall
  2. if still has the same problem even if the firewall is off, disable your antivirus/antispyware if there is
  3. if same problem occurs and you already disabled the security programs, uninstall the security program first then reinstall it

this error occurs due to network problem. check for the following
  • your internet connection is dis-connected
  • you are running a firewall and that blocks access
  • you are running an anti virus software that blocks access to internet when google talk tries to connect
  • you are using proxy and you have not changed the settings in googlr talk for using proxy

Gtalk Error 1

that's a problem with software...

try downloading google talk again and install it... even then if you are getting the same problem... its a problem in the Operating system... some file must have corrupted... so re-install OS and install gtalk...

or simple way.. juz login to your gmail id... u have an internal gtalk available... in inbox itself.. hahaha..
