How to put internet on my DSi

Hi, The best way to connect is on a wifi setup. (wireless) If you require a wired connection then just get cat#3 or #5 cables. One end goes into router or spliter.
The other in to DSI. you may need a usb adapter to connect.
Your DSI should have wireless built in already. If you go to a coffee shop with free WIFI then you will know. Good luck.

How do i get internet on my DSI?

How to Connect Nintendo DSi to the Internet

1. You must either have broadband internet access and a wireless router or you can connect your Nintendo DSi at a hotspot, such as a library or coffee shop that offers internet access. Make sure you are in a location mentioned above before going to step 2

2.
Turn on your Nintendo DSi and click on the wrench icon. This will take you to the system settings.

3.
Go to page 3 and select "Internet".

4. Click "Connection Settings".

5. Click "None" to the right of "Connection 1"

6. Click "Search for an Access Point"

7. Look for an access point that has a gold lock that is unlocked. Select that access point and your Nintendo DSi should now be connected

8.
If you are planning on playing games online with your Nintendo DSi and have WPA security, you will have to set your router to WEP security.

To do this, get back to the "Connection Settings" screen mentioned in step 4.

Click "Advanced Setup".

Click any button that says "none".

Click "Search for an Access Point".

Look for an access point that has a gold lock that is unlocked. Select that access point and your Nintendo DSi should now be connected.

Battery? console has no charge when plugged into wall outlet I push power button blue LED comes on briefly , then red flashes 3 times, and the yellow LED lights up along with the health warning on the...

What color is the power light when the system shuts off?
Red: If the power light is red, or flashing red, when the system turns off, then the system's battery needs to be charged.

Blue: If the power light is blue when the system turns off, then there appears to be a problem with the system and it will need to be repaired.

If the orange recharge indicator light blinks while the system is plugged in and charging, then it is likely that the battery is not installed properly.

If you have ensured that the battery is installed properly but the orange light still blinks, check to make sure that the battery is a licensed by Nintendo. The only licensed Nintendo DSi battery will have the model number "TWL-003" (Nintendo DSi) or "UTL-003" (Nintendo DSi XL) and will display Nintendo's logo.

    Nintendo dsi error everywhere

    Contact Nintendo for this problem,
it looks like the firmware went corrupted,
maybe some one has used a bad flash
    adapter to play backuped games.

Don't tell them the part of maybe some one
used a bad flash adapter, becouse they then won't help you anymore or will cost you alot
of mony to get it fixed.

Also try to reset the dsi to the standard settings, this can wipe everything on the dsi,
    making backups is recomended.
A factory reset on the DSi can be performed by holding down every button minus those of the d-pad and turning the system on.

Up dated my settings on my DSi with my R4i card in the machine know it will not work can you help solve my problem

    Hello,

Which R4i you have will determine what you can do. If you have the R4i Gold, then I'm sorry to tell you, there's no workaround for DSi 1.4. If you have R4i SDHC (redbox) then you can get the latest firmware to make it work again. The fix is easy, no flashing or danger to your card or DSi.

There's a great tutorial to set it up on http://www.dscardworld.com with pictures and links to all the official software on their support page.

If you need to upgrade to a DSi v1.4 compatible card you can get a genuine cards there too. All their DSi compatible cards are clearly labeled. I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it.

    Best of luck!

How to download and install flash on a nintendo DSi

If you are browisng the web on your DSi and is planning to install flash, I am sorry but it wont work, the software itself does not allow flash, either due to the way they designed the browser or to the limited internal memory. I tried it many times and it wont let me, so based on experience it will never happen.
