Hi...
1.this may be because the slot in which you are putting the card may be damaged so it is not detecting the memory card.

2.the solts may contain dirt/dust which is preventing the contact surfaces to come in contact with slot.clean the contact surface on both memory card and the device where yo u trying to put it.

3.the memory cards may be damaged due to external shock so you need to change the memory card itself

What to do when it says internal memory full

Delete some pictures off you camera. It means that there is no more room on your memory.

Make sure to transfer them to a computer, before you delete them, as you wouldn't want to lose precious memories.

I just bought a 4 GB SDHC card so I can take longer videos on my canon A610. I can't get it to work, even though i formatted it using my computer reader. I spoke with the card maker, and they say that they...

Your camera, introduced in 2006, cannot use SDHC cards, but only 'standard' SD cards up to 2 GB.

You should always format the cards (if needed) in the camera and not in the computer to ensure compability.

Unlocked 4.0 GB San Disk

The camera you are using supports those cards: SD Memory Card, MultiMediaCard. Maximum size of SD card is 2.0GB anything over that is SDHC. So I would say the card is not supported by your camera.

Problem with SD card for Hitachi DZMV550A

Never mind, just ignored my posted note.
I just get confused . Had been tried to follow the instruction manual book, but the book doesn't mentioned max capacities of the SD memory card, so I called Hitachi Service Hotline, and they gave me helpful hints which is I should use max 1 GB SD memory card.
Thank you.

My Kodak EasyShare C315 needs formatting.

For all the camera users whose cameras won't format...they can't accept all the info on a 2 gb memory card... install a 1 gb card...worked like a charm for me! C315 and others were made before the 2 gb card. Only 1 gb cards work in the older cameras.

Medion ram upgrade

I'm not a guru, but your predicament is pretty simple.
Depending on your OS (XP 32 bit, XP 64 bit, Vista), the OS will be able to recognize a certain amount of RAM. XP 64 Bit will be able to recognize up to 6GB of RAM. Vista, I have no Idea. 32 Bit, what you're seeing right now.

Sorry for wasting a bit of money on that last stick.

Sony

there might be a problem with the file system you are using with with memory stick..insert it into card reader > format it with fat 32 file system..and insert it again to solve your problem.....if problem still persist .insert your memory card into mobile and goto your memory card > now select option > there you will see format memory card > so it will format your memory card with correct file system that your mobile wants.....
