SOURCE PROBLEM Video and slide sources not being read by projector

Hi Marrie,
Thanks for your suggestion.
I managed to find the problem. Itwas not with the projector, it was on the connected laptop,
The graphics selector was set only to display the image on the laptop.
I reset it to send image to the projector by selecting Notebook+Monitor from the graphics menu, and everything came right.
Thanks again for your input.

SOURCE: the source is constantly switching from video to computer

try brand new cables and reflashing the firmware. if this fails then your main board is likely the culprit.

My HD80 has about 700 hours, original bulb assembly, was working fine until I got curious and "activated" the auto off function while going through the menu. Now it will power up, lamp does not go to

Ensure a video source is connected to the projector (VGA, DVD, etc)

Unplug the projector to make sure it has completely shut down (not just went into sleep mode)
Plug in power and power on the projector (make sure video source is on first)
The projector should turn on and switch to the video source (manually select if not)
Once you can see the video source, push menu and turn off auto-off.

Auto-off should only work when the projector detect a video source is no longer present on the selected input. So if you are turning on the projector with no video source connected, it will usually turn off shortly after being turned on.

My infocus projector is working but image freze for few sec pe min, where is the issue Thank you dan

The issue is in the image source. Not in the projector. the way the image is processed ( digitized) occurs at the media source and spooled to the projector in easy to read streams. The projector doesn't get to think about it, rather just fill its pixel roster and let the light shine through. So change the source of the image and the symptom will change.

The issue of reading and streaming digitized information is handled in different places in different machines. Video card on some computers, mother boards on others, Info is read organised acording to the projectors driver (stored on your media source drive) cashed (packaged) to be spooled (feed) to the projector in the way it likes it matching it's clock cycle. Maybe your driver has a bug.

How do you hook up cable tv to my epson powerlite 830p lcd video projector

To hook up cable tv, you will need to have the cable running into a vcr 1st, then run either your s-video cable or audio video cables into the projector. Press the Source Search button on the remote control or the projector repeatedly until you see the image you want to project on the screen. The projector has two Source buttons.
Use the Computer/Component button to switch between equipment
connected to the Computer/Component ports.
Use the Video/S-Video button to switch between equipment
connected to the Video and S-Video ports.
? The remote control has four Source buttons. Use them to switch
between devices connected to the ports identified on each button.
(The PowerLite 830p does not support EasyMP.TM)
You can preview all sources on one screen to help you select the
desired source. (Allow a few seconds for the projector to sync up
after pressing the button.)

Can project tv screen on litepro

Check the "Default Source" using the remote or buttons on top of the projector.

Default Source toggles among Computer 1 analog, Computer 1 digital, Computer 2, and Video. This determines which source the projector checks first for active video during power-up. Highlight Default Source and click the left or right mouse button to toggle among the options.

Projector does not display laptop screen

Many laptop computers do not automatically turn on their external
video port when a projector is connected. On many laptops, the activation function key is labeled with an icon or the text CRT/LCD.

Try the Function Key with the Icon of a monitor to enable the external video port.

If that does work, look at the settings on the projector using the buttons on the top.

Check the "Default Source"

Default Source toggles among Computer 1 analog, Computer 1 digital, Computer 2, and Video. This determines which source the projector checks first for active video during power-up. Highlight Default Source and click the left or right mouse button to toggle
among the options.

SRC button on cinego projector will not read source

Hi,

Three (3) things you can try:
1. Lower down the Screen resolution of your laptop as well as the Color quality and the Screen refresh rate before doing the Fn + F5. If it works, adjust thereafter;
2. Do a soft (Factory) reset of your Cinego in the in the Management Menu (credit to Cooljazz); and/or
3. it is just "slow" in sensing the presence of a VGA source as it cycles in its selection, internal DVD, VGA, Composite Video IN. Since it does not have a manual source selection, your only option is to really wait or ...Verify that "Auto Source Select" is enabled in the Management Menu (buttons-Proj/Setup then >/9) and "tap" the "SRC" button on the projector itself to manually initiate the input/source selection.

Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
