In order for you to connect your desktop computer to this router you need to go get a CAT5 cable also called a Ethernet cable.

We moved and when everything was hooked up i cant get a connection from my linksys wireless router to my laptop

Ok - hook the power to the Linksys - then RESET - the folded out paper clip will work. Once RESET - hook it up to your ISP provided MODEM [ You must have this service to get on the web] now unplug the Modem provided by your ISP or provider - and unplug the router.
WAIT
15 seconds - then
hook up the MODEM from the provider - then hook up the router - then restart the laptop - if wired it will need to be plugged in - if wireless - run your 'search for a wireless signal and you should have it.

Thanks

All lights blinking at once cant detect srx 200 device#wrt54gx

I would suggest to hard reset the router once. All lights flashing at once is not good news.
Thanks Ranjit

I lost my linksys srx 200 router setup manual and I want to reinstall the router do you have something on line that can help me

You can actually setup the router without the setup CD that came with it. You can simply open the router's Setup Page through http://192.168.1.1 and you can change the wireless settings there

Had to install new Hughesnet modem.

the huges modem plugs into the router. there should be a network cable plug that is seperate from the others on the back of the router. should say line or lan.

Can only get a 10 meg when connected via cable to srx 200

The speed of your wireless adapter maybe up to 54 Mpbs only, check the wireless adapter that you have if it is 802.11 G its set to 54 Mbps only however if your using 802.11 N the speed of the adapter is around 300 mbps of connection.

There's a settings on the router that you can lock WAN port speed to around 10/100/1000

Note: To have a 300 Mbps of connection you should set the wireless settings of the router to WPA2 and AES with bandwidth of auto 20/40

if you have 3 computers now... I'm assuming your old pc was connected directly to the router, your laptop was connected wirelessly and now you have a brand new computer that you also want to connect to the internet using your lynksis router.. you should have not problems doing it, wirelessly or using a wire...as long as your router has ports avaliable...

Linksys Router Installation Model Number WRT54GX4 with SRX

Booba,
With your question about the internet type you are right to set it to DHCP. And For the password you are also right. Now for the ssid that will be the name that your router will be broadcasting. If you can get your computer online through port no.1 on the router that only means that the router is already configured properly for internet connection. Now since the wireless is not working its possible that its not connected yet to the wireless network that you have set up where you were running the setup cd. Do you know how to view the available networks on your wireless computer? If you kindly provide me with the operating system of your computer that will go wireless on your network and also the model no. or the brand of the wireless adapter on it.
