Question about Cell Phones

The moment you had dropped it in water , the batttery should have been removed. You must never use the set once water had logged in. It will only keep circuits failing and destroying sensitive sections.
Now as a last resort we can try to remove the battery first, next open the set by removing the front panel, use a good multi head screw- hex set- to unfasten the main board. Use an hair dryer to slowly dry without heating much the components specially IC's. Allow time for tehmoisture to ooze out and repeat the heating. If possible use a good volatile solvent- petrol to wash the electronic circuit side- DO NOT TRY TO WASH THE DISPLAY OR PLASTIC PANEL. use the heater again , keep it off for a day or so and use a good brush to clean off any residue, an old tooth brush will be a good cleaning tool with the petrol. Re assemble it and pray before you switch on for a miracle. If this works You are going to be lucky.
