My playstation 3 was repaired by Sony about 7 months ago. It's been working fine. My son hooked it up to his TV today to play the new NCAA Football 11. When I hooked it back to my TV I get absolutely nothing. My TV is blank and won't even recognize it. I called my son and he says its OK and that because his TV has a higher resolution than mine thats all it is.

First connect the PS3 to the TV you want it on. Then try resetting the display resolutions on the PS3 by holding the power button for a few seconds when the PS3 is off until you hear 3 beeps. That should re-detect the video and should solve your problem. Hope this helps!

Cant play blu-ray or load games what so ever.fine playin music and normal films.its the new ps3 and was bought for my son at xmas.its only 7 months old.
Unfortunately your blu ray laser has gone, Sony should send you a refurbished PS3 as it is still under warranty

I cant play blue ray movies or games with a "prodressive load" such as assasins creed or prince of persia. a few seconds into movie play or game play the program freezes, i can still exit out of the game...
your blue ray laser is going bad only gonna get woarse. direct replacement part # KEM-400AAA. very difficult to replace yourself. flat rate is around 180 with the tax.sux right. i sent mine in but it comes back with some warranty.

Sony PSP wont play umd
Same with my PSP. My son accidentally broken a spring sensor for the UMD when you close the UMD cover of the PSP. That's why the drive doesn't recognize if there's a UMD. Sony Service Center here in the Philippines doesn't have a replacement part for this.
