Question about Fisher and Paykel GWL11 Top Load Washer
MY WASHER WON'T DRAIN
Dip out the water in the tub. Turn the washer partially over so that the drain pump on the bottom of the washer is on one of the top corners. If you prop the washer up on about a 1 foot stool then the water in the bottom will not run out on the floor. Look for the pump (with black rubber hoses running into it. Feel the hoses to see if they are empty. If they are, remove the 4 screws from the silver plate that holds the pump in place. The pump will then simply twist out and you will see your clog, if that is the issue. I had to do this a couple of times after a dog bed seam came open in the wash and all of the batting clogged up the washer.
