Question about Dryers
HI. Due to the extreme heat levels that can occur in this type of unit: There isn't much that can be done to prevent this , overtime. The best actions are to remove the entire drum and strip the existing paint that is chipping and re apply a new and more resilient spray paint product. There are many heat resistant spray paint products on the market. With that said, i would use a clear coat finish on top of a flat gray or white. This will protect the underlay and prevent chipping for some time.
