Question about Standard Horizon Magnum Nav-40 GPS Receiver

Open Question

I have a Nav-40 which was connected to a laptop computer with charts. It used to work great - until this year. I have checked connections & wiring - all seem to be OK. I checked data in GPS & it is set to NEMA 1083 compatable. Any suggestions? Thanks, Gary

Double-click on the update file you have downloaded.

Click "Next" until the update begins.

When you are notified of completion, close the update

Weed Eater Feather Lite Serial # 003:N32051-4 What is gas and oil mixture

Most of the newer machines call for a 50:1 mixture, but some only 4 years old use 40:1. If it is newer, 50:1. If it is a few years older, then use 40:1 . Here is a fuel mix chart for your convenience. If you want to make only a half-gallon of premix, then half the amount of oil mentioned in the chart.
Using a 40:1 mix in a 50:1 machine won't hurt anything.

I got files from internet to update 2009 map for my gps, but I don't know how to get them into the gps.

1. Download the SONYNAVU_U73T_3.2.CN.BIN file to a temporary or download directory.
2. Connect your nav-u personal navigation device to the computer using the supplied USB cable.
3. Power on your nav-u personal navigation device and wait until the "Connect to PC" message is displayed on the nav-u screen.
4. Start the nav-u Tool software on the computer.
5. At the "nav-u tool" window, click "Upgrade System".
6. On the right side of the Upgrade Screen, verify that the target version is 3.00.
7. On the left side of the Upgrade Screen, click the "Browse" button, and go to the directory where the SONYNAVU_U73T_3.2.CN.BIN file was downloaded and then click "OK".
8. In the "Name" box, click to select "3.02 cn NV-U73T" update, and then click the button.
9. After the update file is transferred to the nav-u device a "Transferring Upgrade file completed." message is displayed on the computer.
10. After the system software update is complete, the nav-u device will automatically shut down and restart.

Connect Ratheon RL 70 to Raymarine E80

The two devices can share Nav data only. No radar, Sonar or Chart will be shared.
Hook the RL70 and the E80 together on SeaTalk and all data will be shared both ways. Alternatively, it could be done with NMEA 0183, which is directional, or you could also translate the RL70 data to NMEA 2000 and share it that way. As long as you have all Raymarine equipment, you are home free using a three wire Seatalk connection, with only two hooked up, Yellow and Bare, color to color.
Remember, this will share Nav Data only.

2003 E class elegance.radio wouldn't turn off now no display

the fuse and power supply box is located on the left side of the trunk behind the little panel. pull the 40 amp fuse for the sound system in that panel in the trunk. I believe its an orange fuse, 5-7 slots from the bottom. should be the only 40 amp fuse on the bottom half of that fuse panel. check the fuse chart behind the triangular panel on the left side of the dash. pull the fuse for 15 seconds and reboot the comand system. if the system doesnt reboot and operate normal, then 1 or more of the audio control modules is taking down the whole system through its fiber optic ring.

MY WIRELESS LINSKYS HOOKED UP NOT FINDING MODEM/CANNOT CONNECT

You don't use a modem to connect with a wireless router. Connect an ethernet cable between the laptop and the router to ensure that both are working. If this gives you an internet connection then the commonest problem is an incorrect wireless key. Reset the key on the router then cut and paste it into the wireless network setup in the Control Panel. Wireless drivers are frequently updated and you should check for a newer driver.
