Problem with ps3 trying to down load maps for a game but a error code keeps coming on number807.100.92 can you help

This is a common problem with the PS3 and internet connectivity. I would suggest you power off the PS3, unplug the power from your router for about a minute, plug it back in and give it a few minutes to completely boot up. Turn your PS3 back on and try downloading again. Give it a try. Take care & good luck!

I am trying to expand memory by inserting 2 PC3200 (DDR400) but total amont of memory size does not changed (still 512 MB) First slot (DDR1) APACER-512 MB Second slot (DDR2) LG Electronics - 1GB

Hi,

Take the stick of 512 out of the motherboard and insert the 1GB stick in DIMM 1 slot and switch the machine on. If it comes on check whether it has registered it as 1GB. If it has turn the machine off and just put in the 512 stick.

If the machine won't boot up with the 1GB stick then it could be faulty or the motherboard doesn't support 400MHz (which it should).

Regards.

Went further in troubleshooting by removing the components one by one. Turned out that the soundblaster fx card needed to be reinstalled after a normal boot sequence was completed.
Remembering that Creative and vista have had problems in the past it was the first component removed and wala.
