Question about Canon EOS Rebel XSi Digital Camera
Whenever I attempt to take a picture with my Canon EOS Rebel XSi, I press the button and it locks the lens, and then when I press the button again, it actually takes the picture again with the proper shutter speed. Is there something wrong with my lens or is it just a setting on the camera, and if it's a setting, how do I undo it to automatically take a picture?
Mirror lockup is probably enabled. You can disable it by going into Menu and then Custom Functions. Select Mirror lockup and disable it.
