Hobart commercial d/washer can't stop water from spraying top/bot

The dishwasher constantly sprays water then it becomes very strong pressure. We need to shut of water suppy to the unit to stop the water. Is this a bad pres. reducing valve or an issue with the dishwasher itself. This happens even while unit is off, not in any cycle.
Thanks in advance

Moyer dieble sw400 - is there. Way to lower pressure of water sprayers? The pressure is so high the floor keeps getting wet as the water is spraying through the curtains.

No there isn't, but if water is spraying through the curtains on a commercial dishwashing, ware washing machine. Check that there is nothing partially blocking the jets, and also replace the curtains if they are not in good repair.

You need the pressure to get everything clean.

Coleman 2400 PSI Pressure Washer - WATER LEAKS OUT = ?!? Help me please!!! ((-:

Usually, there are spaces between the pump and head portion of the pump. This space is not sealed and will allow water leaking past the seals to come out. There may be a seal kit available, however I have had better luck just changing out the whole pump. There are many available on ebay. Search for one that will use same mount and hoses. Once the seals are gone, the pump will never be the same (may nickle and dime you the death).

Starts ok wrench appears heats ok wash cycle pressure strong at first then fades wrench appears -p2 -cleaned screens and checked spray arms .incoming water pressure 20 psi whats wrong ?

Check the spray arm. Machine water pump. After this pump pressure
builds up to the spray arm. Rubber hosejunction inside the wash tub.
This place gets connected to the spray arm system.
You can see this when you draw the tray for loading vessels.
Slowly push it and watch the junction where this gets locked into the
rubber hose mouth inside the wash tub. There should not be any
water pressure leak.

Water spraying up at the back top of the dishwasher

there is supposed to be a baffle on the inside that prevents water from directly spraying out the vent. If it has broken off, a replacement will need to be welded or bolted on

I guess I didn't understand your statement of the problem. If you know that the washer has gone through an entire cycle, and it is time to take out the RINSED dishes, yet the washer turns on when you do this, play with the door interlock and the door handle switches. If the cycle seems to have stopped, but you timed it from the beginning of a new cycle and it hasn't done all the steps, and it sprays when you open the door, then you may want to remove the timer motor and clean the contacts/ check for tine damage along with checking the door switches.

Hello Mary, I checked on your dishwasher and what you have is a pressure fill dishwasher. This unit has a pressure switch to make sure the water level is correct. When the dishwasher is full of water (the indention that is around 2 inches in from the side walls and front) is where the water level should be out to. If the water isn''t out this far, then the pressure switch is shutting off early and not filling properly. I read your entire essay, it is perfect, so this sounds like an issue of either not enough water, or the circulation pump impeller has separated and not creating enough water pressure at the wash arms. Since you stated that you removed and cleaned the filters, that shouldn't be the issue. That is normally where I find this issue at is clogged filters, espically in hard water. I have seen results in the pass where too much detergent was used causing the pressure switch to shut off early. In those cases filling the detergent dispenser with cooking oil and running the longest cycle removes the excess detergent. It is proteins that the detergent is designed to break down. So quit worring about your water pipes, the issue is with the dishwasher. Hope this helps.
