I don't have a solution ... just the same problem. (And I've heard from a lot of other Dare owners with problems, too.) My phone overheated when I left it charging in the car on hot afternoon about two months ago. The battery wasn't able to hold a charge after that. So I replaced the battery and started to have screen problems ... it felt like it was being touched by a ghost finger, and any shortcuts i put in the top right of the screen were activated. Eventually it just died. I can only make phone calls by using the voice commands. I'm 6 days away from being able to trade it in.

Why won't it start?

Because something that should not have gotten wet, got wet. Let it dry out and see what happens.

Maybe when you hit the puddle a bump may have jostled some connection. Check for that also.

I unknowingly spilled water on my Nikon Coolpix L120.

One thing I've done, which might be too late for is submerge my electronic device (cell phone, remote controls, etc) in 99% rubbing alcohol. The logic behind it is, alcohol is non conductive so it wont create shorts, combines with water and evaporates faster than water.

I think at this point your best option is to find something to draw the moisture out of the camera. You need to remove the battery until this process is done as well. Rice (dry uncooked) does a decent job of absorbing moisture. Whatever the case is, you will have to get all the optics cleaned after its dried out.

The mic doesn't work at all no matter what

There is probably water damage to the mic, for small ones like Nintendo's tend to break easily if gotten wet. I do not know much about Nintendo's repair policy, but if they won't fix it you might have to buy a new DSi

The screen is gone blank, as water went in it, how to make it work

Hello. It may be too late to save your phone (there are many factors involved), however, I once heard that using rice can help take the moisture out of electronics. Doing a Google search for water cell phone rice turned up quite a few helpful links. The first link seemed very helpful:

Try the steps on that website. Also note that some manufacturers put water sensors in phones, so if you try to return it, they can usually tell that you've gotten it wet and may or may not help you. Good luck!

I bought my son an old fashioned hot dog roller for Christmas. It worked great the first time and the second time he went to use it, the rollers wouldn't roll. I've read several reviews on this product...

The 5 rollers are operated by 9 small gears that a run by the center gear which is turned by the motor on your machine. The gears in between the rollers help drive the next roller as you move outward from the center. The gears are made of what looks like pot metal, (cheap junk). The teeth break on the gears easily and either stick or won't operate the next roller. You can take the unite apart using a thin screw driver an pry the 6 flange on the drive side and straigten the flange with needle nose plyers. It then prys apart. If any teeth are broken, you can only buy a whole new grill part from Nostalgia Electrics. Cost is 20.00. They won't just sell the junk gears

I went through a puddle of water and when i came out, it started to putt. What do you think the problem is and what are possible solutions?

The spark wires may have gotten wet, you will need to remove one at a time and make sure no water or moisture is present, may use a hair dryer to dry the moisture up. I think this may be the problem.

Cracked screen

best bet is to buy a new piece. Although swapping the screens is possible, it is quite complicated to dismantle and mount again, unless you have prior experience.
Take it to the shop and ask for a repair quote. If it is too high, then might as well buy a new one.
And this time, BE CAREFUL!!!
